The Kekuli Cafe is a First Nations coffee shop in the epicenter of Merritt, British Colombia. There are also locations in Westbank, Kelowna, and Kamloops.
Come on by for a wide range of bannock (fry bread), coffee, tea, lattes, sandwiches, tacos, salads, and more. Enjoy a comfortable setting with native music and art.
The Keluli Cafe has become a popular place for travelers on the Coquihalla Highway to drop in for a rest and to get a box of bannock for their journey.
It is also a tremendous First Nations success story. Elijah Mack-Stirling owns cafés in Kamloops and Merritt. Kekuli Cafe started with Sharon Bond-Hogg and Darren Hogg in Kelowna and has expanded through franchising.
We are planning to have an interview with Elijah posted here soon.
While Bonnie Dixon was away visiting her family in California, Greg Dixon was a regular at Kekuli Cafe for baonnock and coffee.
Bonnie was surprised to learn that Greg had lost weight!
This video Greg's entertaining mock health tip on losing weight with bannock and coffee.
Not to be taken seriously!
